EVVL's Vehicles

Postby Ed » Sat May 30, 2009 5:34 pm

2003 Hyundai Tiburon - Favorite Car, bought brand new.
1994 Ford Mustang
1992 Suzuki Savage 650 - Favorite Vehicle, started the motorcycle addiction.
2004 Suzuki Savage 650

[+2 vehicles that were owned for less than 3 months aren't listed, as they are completely unmemorable. (Can't list what you can't remember :p)]

Wasn't your Hyundai the car that was wrecked on I-75? Was it totaled?
You seem to take after your Dad, in having a small # of vehicles (for your age).

Yea, that was the one that ended up in the median on I-75, though I wouldn't call it a wreck, since it ended up being drivable without adjustments.
Wasn't totaled, though certainly could've ended up FAR worse if I had worse reactions.
Actual damage was just the mirror and the right side body panels.

Updated with my latest purchase, a 2004 Savage.
This buy was just as much an incredible find as the other one was.
$3k total, tags and fees, etc. less than 3k miles.
With the exception of having to bum off someone if there's a lot of stuff to be transported, it's perfect for living on a base, particularly one that's not too extreme. (some snow/ice, and some rain, but not massive amounts of either.)
This one breaks an almost 4 year streak of being a Pedestrian.

What differences have you noticed between your 92 and your (new) 04?
Did Suzuki make any major changes in that 12 year span of Savages?

actually, I haven't noticed any significant differences.
the mirrors are different size/shape, and there's a 'pass' switch, that seems to flash the hi-beam. (really not sure where that came from.)
that's it.
